The Synbreed Summer School 2013 provides an introduction to the evolution and selection of quantitative traits for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in animal and plant breeding. The Summer School will be conducted by Bruce Walsh of the University of Arizona, one of the leading authorities in this field. The course consists of lectures and practical components with hands-on exercises. It is intended as an introduction to the subject and also covers a number of sophisticated approaches to the evolution and selection of quantitative traits.
